"Scrap Dragon" in F&SF
I have a story, "Scrap Dragon," in the January/February issue of The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. You can look for it at a newsstand near you, OR, if you have a Kindle (or Kindle Reader ... there are apps available for all the pocket and tablet computers as well as for PCs and Macs, all of them free) you can get the FREE digest edition of F&SF, where you get a selection of articles and short stories -- including, in the current edition, "Scrap Dragon" in its entirety.
The digest page is here: http://www.amazon.com/Fantasy-Science-F
You can either just get the current edition (the button says "buy," and you will get an e-mail duly informing you that $0.00 has been charged to your credit card) or you can subscribe to get it monthly. If you want the full magazine they offer that, too, for the bargain price of $12/year.
Anyway. If you recall my mentioning a fundraising auction for a liver transplant last year, and my offer, which was a short story written with the auction winner or the person of their choice as the hero or villain (with various caveats that boiled down to "I do not wish to get sued") -- this story was the result. Enjoy!
