Notes in Code
July 30th, 2006 (08:20 pm)
Earlier today, Molly carefully wrote out the following:
NLOOB Back Yard
A | Z
B | Y
C | X
D | W
E | V
F | U
G | T
H | S
I | R
J | Q
K | P
L | O
M | N
NLOOB is MOLLY in the letter-substitution code that she considerately wrote out on the note so that Ed would be able to decypher it.
Having left a note saying where she'd be, she headed outside to play.
(No, she's not allowed to just leave us notes and take off, as Ed told her as he caught her heading out the door. Nice try, though. I particularly like the mix of communication and cryptography.)
