Library Day
March 29th, 2006 (02:17 pm)
For those keeping track at home, Kiera was a snake yesterday. Today, she is an octopus.
We went to the library this morning, since we have a play date scheduled after preschool. Molly realized that she could fit a much larger number of books into her tote bags if she went for paperbacks rather than hardcovers, and checked out 49 uncatalogued paperbacks. Plus the fifth Junie B. Jones book. (The Junie books are a newish series of chapter books for this age group. Junie is a bratty, badly behaved, ungrammatical little snot, so naturally she's a hit with five and six-year-olds, including Molly.)
The nice thing about the paperbacks is that they actually all fit into one of the tote bags.
