Minicon report
Well, the LiveJournal party was a blast. I got to meet all sorts of people in the flesh, and I'd make a list except that I'm bad with names and I would be so bummed if I missed listing someone I talked to. Oh, but outside of the LJ party I ran into someone who said, "Hey, I know your sister!" and it turned out to be
alisgray. Which was very cool because I am so fond of Alis's Birthday Comic (drawn by the very talented
pants_of_doom, whom I've met in person because, like Alis, she knows my sister.)
Other than that, well, let's see. I thought the panel I moderated went okay (it was a little quiet -- as a moderator, I hate it when there are two microphones that have to be passed around among six people, because that really inhibits the "participant jumps in to elaborate" dynamic that makes for a lively panel). I met some new and interesting people, including
lexiphanic, with whom I had dinner, and I bought some artwork (which
magentamn kindly agreed to pick up for me since I wasn't planning to go back to the hotel today).
Edited to add: HTML. Pisses me off. You forget one little quotation mark and your whole post turns to unreadable garbage. *sigh*.
