Kiera demanded to sit on the potty yesterday, and even peed in it. Molly did something pretty similar at 18 months and didn't potty train until 2 years 11 months so I'm not getting all optimistic or anything. I did clap for her (as did Molly, who got all excited that Kiera wanted to sit on the potty). I think the potty interest is mostly Molly-copying behavior. I have this cute little potty chair that Kiera is totally uninterested in; she wants to sit on the big toilet, using the insert seat. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. Molly was also much more a fan of the insert seat than the potty chair, and that (a) meant much less clean-up, since I could just, you know, flush, and (b) made it a lot easier to get her to use the big toilet while out and about, we just had to bring the insert seat with us everywhere for about a year.
